Room 2 commonwealth games

For the last two weeks Room 2 have been working on Commonwealth Games stories. We wrote stories about all kinds of sports like swimming, diving, sprinting, hockey, cycling, shotput, weightlifting and javelin. Liam's story was about rugby. He was in the All Blacks, Shay's story was about diving. Crytal's story was about gymnastics, Kane's story was about weightlifting and Kaci's was about shotput.
Here is the best bit from Rory's story: "The queen said ALL BLACKS WIN ALL BLACKS WIN and her crown fell right off because she was excited."

Here is the best bit from Elisha's story "When It my turn I did a double twist flip on the 10m bar and I won a gold medal."

By Elisha and Rory.

Welcome Back Rory!

We are so excited, Rory has come back to North East Valley Normal School! Rory has spent one term at his old school, Palmerston Primary, while he was spending time with his Mum. We are so pleased he is back with us, we really missed his smiley face.
