It is with pleasure we welcome Amelia van de Klundert to our class whanau. Amelia is 8 years old and she is in year 4. She lives with her Mum and Dad and her brother Thomas, who is in Room 11. Amelia comes to us from Opoho School. Welcome Amelia.

Lucas - Kapa haka star!

Lucas is our assembly award winner this week for his outstanding effort in Kapa haka. Lucas was so enthusiastic that it made the audience smile! Top job Lucas you should be proud of your performance.

This week our assembly award goes to Silva for the fantastic work she has been doing in handwriting. Well done Silva, keep up the great work!

Brilliant work Britney

Britney was the winner of our assembly award on Friday for her fantastic work at soccer. She worked very hard to follow James and Dave's instructions and to concentrate on using both her feet to move the ball. Brilliant Brits!

Cool computing Cameron

Cameron is the assembly award winner for being such a whizz kid on the computer. He was able to make his sound book on photostory in super quick time, including the tricky bits like adding music and talking. Cameron was also a great ICT leader, helping other children to know where to go next with their photo stories. Well done Cameron

Crystal is our assembly award winner this week. She has been working really hard in writing to add excellent details to her recount to make her writing more interesting. She has also been concentrating very hard on her work. Keep it up Crystal.

Clever Cameron

This week Cameron won our class award at assembly. Cameron has been working really hard on his handwriting, shaping his letters neatly and sloping his work carefully. Cameron has been working hard to be able to move onto linking, well done Cameron!

Amazing Artisitc Adam

Well done Adam who got our assembly award on Friday. Adam is an amazing artist and has been doing some fantastic clay work at school. Adam's clay dragon looked fantastic, he even managed to build wings out of clay, great work Adam.

Excellent Elisha

How could I have missed it!!!!
I must apologise for not having told you about the excellent work Elisha has been doing. Elisha got our assembly certificat on Friday for working extra hard in writing to add detail to her recounts to make them more interesting. Exceptional Elisha!

Awesome Oliver!

Congratulations Oliver!! Oliver won our assembly award on Friday from Mrs Keiser for being an awesome enthustiastic learner. A little bird tells me Oliver was also very helpful to Mrs Keiser and made her day really great!

We are celebrating Lucas who won our superstar assembly award on Friday. Lucas has been working so hard to learn his basic facts and showing great perseverance even when things are tricky. Good on you Lucas, keep up the great work.

Super Silva

Our superstar student this week is Silva! Silva has put in a fantastic effort in maths, learning to count in groups of 3, and using this to solve her three times table questions. Top job Silva!

Super Student

This week our assembly award went to Jazz. Our college teachers, Miss Wright and Miss Waddell, loved the way Jazz moved and grooved to the beat in music and dance. She was sensational!

On Friday our super star assembly award winner was Kaci. Kaci won a special award from Elgregoe for being a fantastic caring friend. Well Done Kaci, what a wonderful thing to be recognised for!

Congratulations Olivia! Olivia was our assembly award winner this week, she worked so hard last term to reach her basic facts goal that she really deserved to be celebrated. Keep up the great work Olivia.
