On Friday afternoon North East Valley Normal School had a puppet show called "The Valley of the Puppets" in the school hall. Kaitrin, Drew and Anna helped us to make puppets and learn music for the show.
We thought the puppet show was exciting, fascinating, fantastic, excellent, awesome, amazing.

The countdown is on! The children are starting to get very excited about performing in the school puppet show on Friday and having a chance to show off the beautiful foam mouth puppets they have made with our wonderful artists Drew and Kaitrin. We hope to see you Friday afternoon in the school hall for the show!

Music with Anna

On Friday Anna came to visit room 2. We listened to two malaysian songs that we are going to sing in our puppet show. One of the songs is about a nana with only two teeth and a cockatoo. We have to perform the songs with our puppets.

Artists in Schools

We are working with 3 artists at our school this term, Kaitrin and Drew are helping us to make puppets. Today we worked with Anna on some music. She is going to be teaching us how to sing with our puppets for a performance.
